Default Do aftermarket seats set off airbag light?

So, I'm going to swap my interior to black pretty soon and I also want to throw in some Sparco or Recaro seats in the front. I'm leaning more towards the Recaro Style Topline seat. It's an electric seat(not manual like the Sparco) with cooler/heater and inflatable lumbar support. It's just a straight up bad *** seat. Anyways, I know the GS's stock seats have side airbags built into them. I know a few of you guys here have aftermarket seats...so how do you get around the issue that you're missing 2 airbags? Does your airbag light on the dash come on?

Apparently TRD makes a dummy plug to bypass it.

I have no idea if it works for our cars though

they have it listed here
http://www.japanparts.com/db/partslist.php under TRD

jeff all the air bag does is complete the circuit with a certin amount of resistance..
all you need to do is find out the correct resistance of the airbag, and then put the same size resister in to complete the circuit..

It will if you buy the GS specific ones. I don't know if they still make them but I know they had them for sure.
