i bet a GS430 could pull higher than 162, more torque.. it depends on if you have stuff in your car. Like if you take out the back seats the spare tire etc. then maybe you could go 170 in a 430, just because the torque could pull it. Why would they limit the GS300 slower? why not the same? if the GS cant go that fast anywyas then who cares right?

top speed
Blitz did a top speed run in New Zealand recently with their single turbo V300. It hit 292 km/h or about 181+mph. It was using 850cc injectors, a large K27 turbo while the bottom end was on stock internals.
Heck, if the bottom end was built I'm sure "the slug" can nail 200+mph. As for Blitz I know they have a K-5 or -6 turbo called the 850R capable of blowing alot more hot air. Couple that with 1000cc injectors and goodnight Veilside Skyline.

Well mathmatically,
156 -158 mph for the GS if not limited. GS does have alot of hp and tq but also a large frontal area which inhibits it at high speed.
For reference my 44turbo that had 285 hp did 169-171 due to its small frontal area. It had considerably more hp now.
I have taken then GS4 to 149 (scary in this car) and it did have some pull left but not enough to take it past 160

Actually Veilside's Skyline has around 1,100ps. With two HKS GT3240s (ceramic ball bearing), 60mm GT wastegates, 4 independent external fuel pumps and six SARD 1000c injectors... 890hp seems highly detuned. Supposedly, "they" said the Getrag-6 tranny was invincible... Veilside proved "them" wrong. They sell an identical rebuilt Getrag tranny for half the the cost of R34. Yikes. I believe a worthy adversary Techart's upgraded Porsche 996 Twin-Turbo.

hehe I know that car is a Dream man ,,, every heard of a Company called Top Secret its from Japane they also do aftermarket products for Skylines R34 pumps 2000hp at the engine ,,, 0-300 Km'h in 16.8 secounds top speed about 343km/h ,,, ( because the sixth gear hit the redline) here is there website

Biggie/1Sick........most speedometers are a bit optimistic regarding what you see vs. speed you are actually traveling. Plus, the plus sized wheel/tire combos usually induce a small amount of error relative to the factory rims for which speedometer and odometer are calibrated for. I know, it's only a small amount (and sometimes the error is in the other direction), but at approx 150 mph could account for a couple of those extra mph that you report.
Alternatively, maybe your limiter is on permanent sushi break.

GS400 top speed
I don't think the gs 400 is electronically limited because I had the speedometer over 240km/h (149mph), probably 5km/h over that. It should not matter about the wheel size because it would measure wheel speed not vehicle speed.
