I would seriously like to know how they get 700hp out of the s/c. I'm not new to the 1UZ and SUPERCHARGER world neither.

Quote: I asked them about that car, and all it had was an SRT S/C kit, the rest was stock GS400. I really wish they still sold that kit.
Mo's car was far from stock except for the SC (which was a custom setup and not what they eventually sold as their staged SC kit). The list below is from July 2001

Quote: OK here is an incomplete list:
HRE 19" Wheels with Yoko AVS skins : $6,500
AP Racing Brakes: $4,250
Eibach Springs and Bilstein Shocks: $750
SS braided Fuel system with 550 gal/hr fuel pump and FMU with modified fuel rails: $1,500
8 - 720cc Denso low impedence injectors: $1,000
Interior guages setup: $750
SRT Dual 4 channel injector controllers: $600
SRT custom equal length header system with full 4" single to 3" dual exhaust system: $3,000
SRT custom built A650 Automatic transmission: $3,000
SRT custom configured and built 1UZ-FE engine: $10,000
SRT custom supercharger system built for 1,000HP: 10,000
SRT custom configured NX N2O system (max 100HP): 2,000
SRT custom drive shaft joints: $500
SRT electronics (engine management ecu, tranny controller ecu, VVT-i controller ecu): $1,000
WALD body kit: $2,500
HRE wheels with MT E/T street slicks: $2,000
And many many many other "stuff": $priceless

So far total parts: $ 49,350
AND NOW for the Labor hmmmm....: approximately 200 hours @ $75/hr = $15,000
Oh and don't forget tuning: Approximately 15 hours @ $100/hr = $1,500

And the grand estimated total: $66,350
Krista (my wife) and I rode in that car back in 2000/2001 when Mo installed some stuff on my GS, it was quite a beast. If recall correctly something broke during that 12 second run and while he completed the pass it wasn't at full power. He had the car still sitting in his shop last time I was there two or three years ago back in a corner gathering dust.

It's going to be rebuilt eventually, there is no motor in it right now.

Is this the car that made Autoweek magazine a long time ago? I think that was a twin turbo though.

Odd that he would only reference the S/C kit and not the other parts. I did find it a bit hard to believe that just a blower kit will turn a 14.5 sec car into a 12 sec car.

Different car. That was one of the 'four horsemen' (I believe Mitch) with the Scorpion TT setup. Here's a thread on it https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=121470
