Default Nightshots: 2000 GS400 w/ 19" Work VS-xx wheels (13 pictures; 2.86MB)

Since my last picture post, a DIY timing belt replacement was carried out. All the fluids have been changed out. The car is now lowered in Eibach Pro-kit springs. I installed them last Saturday. The taillights have been cleared out. I had some spare time last Friday, so I reconditioned and repolished the lips on the Work VS-xx's to remove the curb rashes and nicks. My L-tuned sideskirts should be here on Monday. I will be ordering a TTE front lip in the near future. That's pretty much it. It has been raining tremendously here for the last few weeks. It was finally dry today, so I decided to wash the car and put on the wheels. Enjoy the pictures. More pictures will be posted after the front lip and sideskirts are on.

car looks clean but im not sure im a big fan of that style wheel on the 2gs... like i was saying in my other post about the pentas, those works are a lot more of a bmw type of wheel...to me anyway.

Car looks great! Wheels look brand new and so does the paint!

What is the detailed procedure you went through to get the nicks and scratches off your rim lips? I need to recondition my wheels too and want to attempt doing it myself.

Very nice. I like the VS-XX's a lot, could be more flush with the fenders though. Good job on the DIY tails too. Did you have trouble with those?
