Default Ground/Earthing

are they really that great? Recently in Japan many cars are starting to do Earthing additions. They add ground wires to their cars. GS has 5 standard ground wires inside the engine bay, and some people go as far as 11 on their Aristo.

They claim that adding ground wires will improve response. Anyone knows about these?

The thing with grounding, if the wire is long, there might be a potential different between the 2 grounds. So if you want to ground your whole car right, you want to ground it to the same point to prevent potential difference. Just letting you know what i know. Plus, i think it's exactly like a circuit board, adding capacitors helps to eliminate noise.

I know it works with stereo systems...I have my capacitor double grounded one to the body and one to the frame.

this is what I found

HERE

5 of them (1, 2, 3, 10, 11) are original grounding spots, while the other 6 are added grounds. It's probably carefully planned out but I have no idea how it works.

If it really did make that much of a difference with grounding I think Lexus would have done it themselves. Its not anything too difficult, especially not when the vehicle is in production state and all you have to do is add a few more wires...knowing Lexus they would spend the extra $20 or so to do it on a $60k car!
