yeah...you're better off with just using regular bulbs. LED bulbs would work even better, give that 'HID' turn on/off look without killing the bulbs/ballast in like a week.

Yea i was thinking the samething..LED's would be hot

What kind of projectors did you use?

I think he was joking about using them AS blinkers guys. I would guess he meant more along the lines as having projectors in his blinker location as "auxillary" lights for driving.

Heh, yeah I was just kidding about using HID's in the blinkers. The blinker housing is waaay too small to dissipate the heat from a HID bulb fast enough. For my next retrofit, I'm gonna use LED's in the blinkers. LOL, I'm already planning ahead to my next set .

Specifically, I'm gonna use six 3watt Luxeon star LED's. If you've ever seen one in a flashlight...you know the output is MEAN! One 3w Luxeon has a light output equivalent to about 30-50 standard 5mm "high brightness" LED's . Now...imagine 6 of those in a blinker
