i was looking into what toyota has to offer for upgrads on a GS300 and well its spend alot and get a little almost, i ended up seeing Toyota 97ish Supra twin turbo engines for my car, my question is, will it fit in my car "1999 gs 300" and what am i looking to buy besides the engline to get everything working??

You should do a search there about a million threads on this same exact topic.

1. A supra motor will fit but yo have to change the oil pans and you are in for some wiring if you dont get the Vvti version.

2. The proper motor is the Vvti Gte motor out of the 98+ Aristo, only place to get one is from an importer.

Any more detail then that make friends with the search button on the tool bar above

wow, thanx, i just looked up the engine, and did some math and research. A super charger for my lexus is 5 to 7 grand..
but a 2jz gte, is 2400.00 ish and the upgrades are pretty reasonable..
i think keith goin have a new lexus upgrade soon.. ^^ !

A non-vvti is going to be in the $2400 range, remember you need the tranny as well and supporting mods (exhaust etc...) If you use a non-vvti motor and ecu like you are talking about you are going to be in for a significant amount of wiring and will need to retain both ecus (Gs and Supra) in order for all the body functions to work etc...

p.s- If you get a Jdm Supra motor, you will have smaller cams than Usdm and smaller injectors, most people replace them when doing the swap so factor that into the price as well.
