I was talking to guy here in town this past weekend who used to have one of the best looking GS' I've seen. He's recently sold it and is trying to sell me the wheels. Weds 3-Piece Chrome 20's w/ 5" rear lip. Not sure which model. He imported them from Japan. Does anyone have any knowledge of these or know anyone who has had them? What would these go for used in great condition with tires? I believe he got them from TLW. I'm thinking about them but feel maybe 19's are as big as I'll go. Tires can get so expesive too.... Anyway, here's a pic I resurrected. From the outside, this car reminds me of DaveGS4...

nice car and nice wheels but no way does it even come close to giving dave a run for his money furthermore his car is just toooooo fast under boost anyway

if you buy the wheels i have a set of brand new conti sport 3 tires for sale never mounted for 900 shipped , they retail for 1300+

They are the borpheus's(spelling is incorrect I know). They are super sexy wheels!!! But that is far from 5" of dish on the rear sir, maybe 3".

The wheels are WEDS Kranze Borphes. GT PRO LS had them on his LS430 and one of the SC members either has them or is still waiting for them to come in.

FYI, 19 inch tires can be as much as 20's or even more.

Very nice car but uhh, Dave's car is nuts, I don't think it has one stock part on it!

Ha... I know that for sure. That's why I was careful to say from the "outside" of the car, not in terms of interior details or engine. But it does remind me of Dave's. Very classy and not too overstated.

And it does look more like a 3" lip than a 5." I haven't seen the wheels in person in a half a year or so, but I do remember that the lips stick out past the fenders a little.

19" tires are expensive....i'm getting some 275/35/19 michelin ps2 for 318 each. I would think 20's are cheaper because there are more manufacturers and they are a more common size. 19's only have a handful of manufacturers
