I'm REALLY lovin the black & reds and I'm definitely more down for the twenty inches. The difference in price is around $300.. the 962's being cheaper.

Depends on the look you want. The black and reds would give a crazy dtm look that would be super hot!

fly-9 04-03-07 12:44 PM

Both are hot, but I like the first ones better.

I think I would get sick of the second one's after a while..

4ntvings 04-03-07 12:50 PM

the 5 spoke are classy racy while the mesh is simply sick racy. i'm kind of partial to the mesh ;)

T.K.O. 04-03-07 12:59 PM

Ya same... well my sister is chippin in on em for my b-day and this is what she has to say about the black and reds...

Personally, I think that they are a little spiderman. I think that the
typical chromewheels look the cleanest and the freshest. Think
about it, classic = classy, thats all I'm saying. I'd even tell u to go
bigger than do that crazy, risky color combo. I understand that its about personal preferance, individual style and
a car that reflects your tastes but do you really want your car to be that
individual?????? On behalf of your beautiful classy sleek car I have to
warn you against these rims fool. P.S. three words playa your old
civic........ yikes
lol.. yes my civic was terribly ugly the first few months I had it from the ding dong owner before me.. but I fixed it up nice thereafter...

another thought is I don't know how nice the gunmetal will go with the black car... I wish those 962s came in black but apparently they don't.. 20s would be nice too.. >8]

The first one, but if the second one had a polished or machine lip, then I'd opt for that.

SoCalSC4 04-03-07 01:25 PM

Both wheels are a bit sporty-looking for the GS, IMO.

It's a toss-up; I like the clean lines of the 5-spoke,
but it looks like it belongs on an Evo or an S2000.
The mesh is a clear rip-off of the BBS RS-GT.
I like unique color combinations, but the black and
read is a bit much, even for me.

What offsets are they available in?

I agree with your sister by the way... and I like these wheels better then the other two choices, but then again, just my opinion... go for what you like.

One note about quality, the GS shakes like a mother on cheap rims, so dont skimp, you'll be sorry.

Here's a site that just might help. You can find some really good forged wheels. Don't pay attention to the "car selection" .... If you find a wheel that you like, call them for more detail. http://www.performanceplustire.com/p...els#prodAnchor

If you want to spend a bit more, then try and get a 3 piece forged wheel like a Forgeline; they keep the spec's to Lexus cars, and manufacture your wheels inhouse. Call them. They are very knowledgable and will be more than happy to point you in the right direction. I like their PREMIERE SERIES ZXP3 Series which is the luxury version of the most popular race wheel, the ZX3R. The wheel is available in sizes from 18x7.5 to 20x13 and each wheel is built to order. That means they can give you custom offsets, a choice of center finishes and even the colors you desire. They are about $ 1,000 per wheel. But just think, you'll have a custom forged wheel that, if you god forbid crater on some pot holed hell bend highway, can be replaced in pieces rather than having to buy a whole new wheel.

Happy hunting.....
