Dailey driver with 20's?
Anyone on here with 20's and using their car as a daily driver? Does it put alot of stress on the car? I want to go 20's but scared it will shorten the life of my car. I do drive about 45-50 miles a day round trip and i want to make this car last as long as i can. I am going to be lowered on tein coilovers about 2 inches in the front and about 1.7 in the rear. What tires and offset should i go?

My friend had 19's on his car lowered and drove averaged about 80-90 miles per day for couple years. I guess just maintain the car and should be ok.

You'll be fine as long as you don't drive like an ass those 50miles a day

I'm running 20's and have no problems what so ever....

19's fat setup for everyday driving...

same here i have 19"s and lowered , as long u dont live in NY you will be fine...

I wouldn't be worried about stress on the car if driving with 20's and lowered. I was reading the latest Consumer Reports which right now is their yearly auto issue, and again, the 2nd-Gen GS is highly reliable car albeit the owner has maintained it properly.

I'm on 20's with 30 and 25 series tires and lowered on CS 2's to about 1/2 finger gap. rides smooth, I cruise and avoid the potholes and little BS in the road. I probably drive 50 miles daily. I bring the car in every couple of months to check the suspension and so forth, to be careful.
I have noticed any strains on the car. |

The ride is not that bad vs. 17" stock wheels lowered on Tein CS v2. What I do is try to avoid large potholes and dips and check tire pressure weekly. To be honest with you, I'm on the fence whether to keep them or swap back to stock. I thought it wouldn't bother me driving 40 miles each day and dodge imperfections on the road, but sometimes you have those long days at school and work where the last thing you want to worry about is bending/cracking your wheels.

Nothin' wrong with rollin' on 20"s just gotta look out for the potholes and things of that nature.

The suspension and wheels should be fine as long as your careful, but being careful all the time can get stressful. ;)
