Default PLEASE HELP - Which Intake system?

Hello friends, I am looking into putting the best intake system that is out there on my 98' GS400. Which one should I put on it? Is swift racing good enough? Also I dont want my car to scream like a beast when I put on an intake system. If I do put on a Swift Racing Intake system will the car scream?

Also, last question,I read that the Swift Racing Intaken will gain you about 30 hp, is it true that I will SOME gas mileage. When I drive the GS I usually don't drive fast I try to keep the rpm's under 2 as much as I can.

So will I loose gas mileage with the swift racing intake?

Please help a newbie in this.

With SRT intake system, you will hear the hiiizzzz sound because of the free air flow to the intake. It's the only thing that bugs me. I once floor the car and the car next to me said, "damn, I thought it was a Mustang." Nope, it's a Lexus GS430. HAHA

In my experience, I do gain some mpg with SRT system, between 1 to 2 mpg extra.

Generally speaking, you will not lose mpg cuz now your engine breaths much better, more oxygen means more burning. more burning means more efficient. more efficient means less gas it'd waste.
