So how much did your gas mileage increase by? or was it just to get rid of the loudness of your injectors?

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention. I went from about 190 miles to the tank, up to around 230 miles to the tank. I am telling you there was so much blue smoke that I actually posted this up. It was a crazy big blue cloud at every startup. And my injector loudness came back some. But I am not putting that bottle in again till fall.

I have used Lucas injector cleaner recently (2 fill-ups in a row) and the car runs great! I went from a norm of 230 miles to around 260 miles on a tank now...

can anyone tell me how often we should run this cleaner? I used BG44k when I first bought my car, but that was over a year ago. I am wondering if I am due again.

Yeah, I get the same. Always between 300-330 miles every tank.

Well my mileage is so low because I live in the City. When I go to PA or Upstate, my mileage goes up a lot. The longest distance I drive during the day without stopping is on the highway, if there is no traffic for about 4 miles. And the speed limit on the highways around here is 50mph, which you will never reach because of the traffic. Oh every light is like a drag race. Around here if you're not aggressive, you are going to stand around much more.

Thats why I have a bike, and when the weather is good, there is no traffic, ever, lol.

Where exactly do you live? No way you live in Brooklyn. I'm thinking you live in Long Island.

Yeah...for some damn reason on (LI) I only get around 260 miles now per tank. I MIGHT drive about 4 minutes a day (3-4 miles) on the highway. EVERYTHING else is relatively local. When I do take further trips like out to Queens/Nassau (30-45 min. of highway driving) I notice my trip odometer is much higher on that particular tank. Maybe I'll just do some laps on the LIE (Long Island Expressway for those that don't know)!!! lol!

Yup Brooklyn, NY. Sucks the big one, especially if I have to leave the office in BK and go up to NYC in the middle of the day. Then I see a huge drop on that particular tank. When in Manhattan, it is a drag race every time you get moving, even if it is in the middle of a block. I know a few people that come from some other states, they can't beleive how we drive here.

When I drive somewhere far, I get well over 400 to the tank. This car knows how to sip da gas when cruizin.

So if I try this Lucas injector cleaner, should I wait for a long highway trip or should I use it during city driving so it remains in the sytem longer?

I don't think it will matter. Just put it in, and it will do its job. Anyway, I have found that
BG44K works better. Search for it on ebay or your local store. It's much more expensive, but seems to work better.
