How to update my Navagation in my 98 gs

i need to update my navagation in my 98 gs400 because my navagation is useless in my city.. so how can i update it? anybody ?

Only way to update them is to purchase the harddrive update from the dealer (or other place, i dunno where). You will order a new harddrive, and swap it out of your NAV ECU (in the trunk on the right hand side under the floor). You will then return your stock harddrive and install the new one. Done..

The hardrive updates only go up to, I believe, 2002, due to the size of the data and what the system will recognize for a hardrive.

Sorry incorrect - they came out with a new version late last fall with 2004 map details.
