Default Why I regret not ordering Nav

I am still regreting not ordering the GS with Nav option b/c I thought paper maps were good enough

Today TL meet was a great turn out 20+ cars with Supra guys there as well. So after the meet we head out to cruise and drag a little, but I don't know the place at all so the whole time I just followed Edogg. So like 5 of us don't have nav so we had to make a few turns to find the right road. (If we had Nav we would of known)

Just as I expected, 3 cars ahead light turns yellow so 3 cars punched it and blast though the intersection leaving me and an IS sitting at the light going #$%^. I thinking no biggie I just husstle up and we'll catch up.

Then up ahead another red light! Again I was sitting there going #$%^. Dann might as well go home, they must be long gone by now. But knowing my Black Onyx she won't disappoint me. Apon green light 300 ponies was laid down on the ground, and within a few I see a roll of tail lights with hids turning right to a very long straight. Whew.

If I had Nav it would be much easier to find the place. Ok I will stop rambling I will now go to sleep regreting not ordering the Nav option...

With Nav =
Without Nav=

Peter it was sooooo nice meeting you today, the meet was extraordinary, and so is everyone. The supras are crazily fast, and so is Tom's 500 rwhp GS300. I luv this meet, it is unreal!!

Nav was my first priority in ordering the 430, because I know the pain you gone through, but whether if it is worth the 6k difference remains doubtful. I reply so much on Nav right now I feel I am losing my road feel more and more = P

anyawyz. pleasure meeting you, kick *** 430 = ). let's go cruize again soon!

you are one cooh buddy

I agree... I LOVE my navigation system. Today my wife and I were out in her RX300 which doesn't have nav and we wish it did because we had to go to an unfamiliar part of town. We had to go in her SUV though because we had a ton of stuff. We found the location after some guesswork and a phone call!

Wei, it was a pleasure meeting you as well. I had a great time meeting you and other members Scott, Ted, Steve and everyone else. And those Supras

Your GS is like the best one there, I am still amazed how you light up those 20's at the race. Woot. Yup, can't wait to go cruize again.

This meet was the **** so many tight a$$ rides, but as a LS onwer I feel uncomfortable

Haha,Peter sorry about punchin thru the light with the others.I am glad you and Enwah's IS caught up with us and got to see a little drag.

My LS is easy to recongnize at night. It is the only Lexus with tailights that has a pure superwhite color in the top and bottom layers in the middle, plus when I signal you know its me because it changes speeds while it blinks.

till next time then See you guys

Eric, no problem man. Yeah your tail lights are very distinctive I can spot it from far away, that's why I wanted to follow you.

Its just that the meets or dominated by GS's and IS's.I am proud of my LS.It was only me and Romeo this time, plus Romeo wanted wanted to hear your system so you audio heads can talk about audio and give everybody headaches with you systems

I know what you mean man, actually I was coming to teh meets in a BMW for the last 3 times. Talkimg about feeling uncomfortable

I met Romeo once already and we totaly found the common interests in car audio. My system will not be giving headaches, only orgazms to females and pleasure to your ears

Try having nav that doesn't work! It seem that the reflective tint is causing the nav to loose satellite location. To top it off, my girl say's " Even with Navigation you get lost" . Hey Wei....you never called back man!
