Hello,

Sometimes when I drive over any rough surface,gravel or certain speed-bumps, I feel a big clunk noise from the steering assembly.

Anybody know what it could be?

how old is your GS? some members are replacing their steering rack bushings with daizen. it could also be one of the ball joints are worn. you may want to take your car into a master mechanic to get it checked out.

 

Its a late 98 with the newer style rack
