Default Stock Tires

Can someone help me out with this? I just recently purchased a set of the Stock Chrome 17's for my 02 GS430. Used Michelins came with it. The tire size is 235/45/R17. For some reason, they look kinda small, like it doesnt fill up the wheel well as good as some other GS's i've seen with stock 17's. Also the ride is kinda rough Is there a bigger tire i could buy for a smoother ride and better look?
Thanks

that's the stock size, ride roughness might be because of the tire type. some tires are rougher than others, go to tirerack and look at the tire reviews for the tires you have. you could also use 225/50/17 which might be a little softer.

most people go to a 245/45 with those wheels.

Smile tires

My wife and I both run Mich. Pilot Sport A/S 245/45/17 on our 1999 GS 400's.

They corner really good are great on dry roads and handle the rain where we live(Seattle) really well. Plus if it snows a very small amount we can still get around. Any more than that and we throw on the 16" wheels with the Blizzack Snow and Ice tires and they are unbeliveable on icy roads.
