Default Pumping guards

Hi all.

Would it be possible on a 2nd Gen GS to pump the rear guards 2cm and the front guards 1cm without needing to cut into the metal and damage the paint?

Cheers.

On both front and rear lips of a GS2 they retain a small square plastic clip which keeps a thin metal trim captive. If you're trying to push your guards out with a roller (after removing the clip) they will tend to buckle oddly and not be a super straight roll. Most guys cut the inner lip off or trim it significantly. I got mine rolled (no cutting) and I reckon they sit about 10mm further out than stock, but on close inspection, they definitely are not straight.
