Mine looks extremely dark because I have the rear windows at 5% all around so there's not a lot of light coming into the car. If you look closely you'll see the front is tinted lighter but unless I'm directly in the sun, you can't really tell.
Even worse, here is a pic with me IN the car with the front windows down

Duno if it's 35% according to American Standards but I've got a JDM style tint on my Aristo, lighter in the front and darker in the back.
