Default This is probably a very noob question...

Actually, this IS a very noob question, but I would appreciate if you guys would answer.
What exactly does turning the ECT power button on do? When Lexus tests how fast the car can sprint 0-60 do they have ECT on?

And, does turning VSC off somehow make for faster sprints?

Bottom line, WILL turning POWER ON and VSC OFF make me faster?

I have never driven with my VSC off, there have been a couple of times when i was driving in poor conditions where it kicked in and i thank it!!!

Well the ECT just lets the engine shift at higher revs. The VSC will control wheel spin, it will not make you faster it's just to do a burnout. It's not going to make that much of a difference if you turn on the ECT and off the VSC but I usually drive with the ECT on.
