2GS - 20" MRR GT1 Chrome / 295-25-20 rear tire (CL Member HOLLYWOOD)

Hey guys,

I got these pics from CL member AJ the other day and wanted to share. AJ was hell bent on running the 295/30-20 from Toyo on the rear and dag-nabbit he did it!! I think it looks really meaty, and is certainly different!

The wider tire did require some fender modding but nothing that was majorly drastic (no repainting or flaring, etc)

The wheels are:

MRR GT1
20x8.5 FR
20x10 RR - 4" lip

Toyo Proxes PX4 - 245/35 & 295/30-20

We have MRR special running right now, CLICK HERE FOR MORE DETAILS

that cars also begging for a front lip....and although the owner prob likes them (which is what matters) the body accents that were added in front of the headlights would go if it were up to me...they look completely out of place without any other body mods..some might argue these serve a purpose, but other then to add a different look we all know they dont and just imo do more damage to the looks then good... but anyway, NICE set of wheels and tires

Dood, that is the OEM headlight washers for some international GSs..... :)

AJ, FANTASTIC work, wow 295s, a VERY rare feat!! Way to go D2 again!

The extra tire looks great. It almost looked kinda funny at first since most of us run a stretched 275. I am definitely moving to a 285 but now that I see how this looks I might bump to the 295.

Damn... that car looks pretty clean... love the wheels... a bit outta my budget though :)

rear tires definitely look very meaty. 295 on 10, that's soemthing. should have gotten 10.5 i think that's better

either way, why 245/35 and 295/25? that's not matching diameter? 245/30 will make more sense?

GS300Rich 08-02-06 03:27 AM

Looks good. Needs to be lowered a bit more and its perfect

Thanks guys. Hey Derrik it's 245/35/20 and 295/30/20. Sorry if there was any confusion. I dont think it can be lowered anymore either. I alread rub in the front fender liner, and some times the rear if I have someone in the back seat.

Do you guys typically take out the fender liners??

D, i think you should put his user name . i wish that was me

Whats the offset on the wheels? The reason im asking is because i got a +43 offset in the rear and a 10" wide rim, and from the looks of it Im almost positive that I could run a 295 in the rear without any rubbing issues. I dont have a 4" lip either, but I can live with my little 3".
