I got a Service history check on another 99 GS400.
-98 Oil Change
-Jan 99 Door Latch replace, 10,000 mile service
-May 99 Evaporation system upgrade
-July 99 15,000 service
-May 2002 Battery Replace, Front Door Locks Replaced
-Sep 2004- Service campaign, complaint with Brakes(replaced else where i believe), Oil filter change, shimmy- Wheels bent, shock absorber exhaust pipes hitting the rear of the vehicle
^^Is this history a cause for alarm? The vehicle is at 67,922

I'd say 400 no doubt...a toyota motor with 117,000 miles is nothing. welcome
About your last post, not sure what it means...was it in an accident? or is the "shimmy" just the normal 60mph thing we almost all get?

I got a autocheck run on both of the 400's and some interesting things came up. One was stolen, both where lease and lein, one was Repossessed, Emission/Safety Inspection, Duplicate Title Record, etc. And the 2nd gs400 the report say there was no odometer tampering, but yet it shows 1/04(79614) and 4/04(79300)
GeorgeGS4: I don't know if it was in a accident(first thing that in my mind), and the lady didn't know either. She said there is this machine that can tell(but she don't know much about cars).

Hi, this is my first time posting and I just signed up yesterday but I've read tons of post and many topics, im a search first person but I think my question is more opinion based.
Which car is the better buy/value?
1999 GS 300:
-$12500
-80K miles
-BLACK WITH TAN LEATHER INTERIOR
-oil change ever 3000 miles
gs4 keep its value
1999 GS 400:
-$10,995
-117k miles
-Black with gray leather interior
Im no car expert, but i appreciate any suggestions. Thank You
