help fast!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm having my timing belt replace and now the dealer says the crank seal is leaking and the tensioners are rusty?? $300.00 more to fix

Any ideas??

I would have it done since they are already right there. I had mine replaced on my GS 300 when I had my timing belt done along with the waterpump. In my opinion its $300 worth of peace of mind!

Shouldn't the tensioner be replaced along with the timing belt anyways? Crank seal broke, what can you do, that's a mandatory fix.

That's pretty much what I was thinking. I called the Toyota dealer and told them to go a head and fix it.

The bad news...they won't have the parts until 3/14/06....oh-well!!

Smart move! You will sleep better knowing that it's fixed and it's under warranty!
