Guys, I remember there was a thread talking about Autolock , the "unbreakable" lock. I can't seem to find it? N E ways, I am going to buy it but first I'd like to check here first to see what you guys think of it

Besides getting an alarm, or lowjack etc.. is AUTOLOCK the best piece of metal to put in your car to prevent autotheft? I know The Club sucks, and so is alot of other cheezy wannabe's. I've seen this run on the infomercials long enough and I need some security measures for my car.

Its only $60 but I want to make sure its a well spent $60.

Any info or comments are appreciated.

I have the autolock and it is great.I think the only way is thru the infomerical on TV,I also checked at the stores, but they did not sell them.

I have the factory alarm,a Clifford Tazer 4 alarm, the club, and the Autolock.

Luckily they started to sell them in stores . Hey Edogg, did you find anyway yet that theives can bypass the Autolock? I know for the club, they just cut the steering wheel

Well is almost impossible to break it.The steel that it is made of is solid, why thicker and stronger feel than the club.

The only way i think so far is to cut the foot brake off.But it is almost impossible becasue once the autolock is on there is almost no space for you to cut the brake.
Plus the brake is made of strong steel.

So if you cannot step on the brake you cannot shift the tranny out of park.
That is the main idea of the autolock, although i had to diable the shift overide button on my LS.

Plus the key is a circle type of key,not your regular key where you can copy.
