It would be a lot easier to sell the blue one and then buy a black one

A colorchange paint job done right will cost ya. Done right means to remove the engine and paint the engine bay. All the door jams, trunk jams, and remove the window rubber/garnish (or move it back to get in there). In black is even worse because any body flaws will show up. My hotrod is getting a black paint job and its gonna cost me 5k ON A HOOKUP. My buddy usually does restorations on jags and his paintjobs start at 10k minimum. I had a showcar that I paid 4700 for a color change, but I had to pull the motor myself, sand and prep. If you're gonna do a paintjob, especially in black, do it right. If not, it will show for sure. Rule #1 for paint, NEVER SKIMP OUT ON PAINT, again because it SHOWS.

forgot to mention, if your paintjob sucks, its gonna be hard to resale the car

you really need to research paintjobs. Candy looks great done right. When you have a scratch or a flaw (IE your cracked bumper) its going to be hard to colormatch. You have to find a really talented painter to do that. There's a lot of talented painters that can't even match candy paint.
