I was wondering who makes a front strut tower brace that fits a GS300. I have heard that the GS400 bars wont fit because the more height in the inline-6 in the GS3.

I think it's probably impossible to have a bar over the engine cover. The cover looks pretty tight with the fire-blocker on the hood.

Plus the cover traps heat.

If you want any Japanese bars then contact Hiro.

I don't think they will......

I've checked their Japanese website and I remembered them saying all the bars are "JZS161 specified" so that means Turbo V300s so that means GS400s so that measn no GS300

hm... i dont see why it wouldn't fit if its as thin as the RMM, cause thats the problem here, thickness... all it needs then is some spacers

not thickness....... it's the height from the base of the strut to the top of the bar. TRD bar can be as thin as a wire and still won't clear the engine.

yea but then i could always use spacers, see what i'm saying? it means there is at least the size of the strut bar in space between the hood and engine, see what i'm saying? heres an illistrasion i drew up

i see what you're saying.

but the gap between the hood and the intake isn't that small. It can sure take a TRD STB bar if that bar is higher. So thinness wouldn't matter. And adding spacers just means having a STB with towers that's higher, meaning more clearance, which is exactly what i mean.
