see the link to summit .. the one I was talking about is real slim it looks like a resonator.

 

I ran my GS3 without mufflers at all while I was waiting for my new exhaust to arrive. Yes it does kinda take away some low end power, but it is a pretty mean sound. Its more on the loud side, but not obnoxious.

 

has anyone tried this on a 400 yet??? input needed plzzzz or ill have to be the test dummy inna few days......

 

I did it a few weeks ago. Sounds ****ing beastly. But, and I figured this, there is a very loud drone at 2k rpm. If you want ***** out V8 sound, go for it, but be prepared for that drone.

 

how does it sound at idel? and cause u describe the "***** out v8 sound" does it sound like a mustang or some sort??? and how does it sound wot??? just dont wanna be suprised when i remove them.....

 

Its not really as throaty as a mustang, but similar. WOT sounds amazing. I recommend having the mufflers removed at the flange to see if you like the sound. If you don't, you're only out a gasket and probably 4 bolts...
