That's why I never EVER do valet. I'll park somewhere else and walk if needed, or just leave.

 

Yup! I've left a place before. I was going out to dinner in the city w/ my gf & they only had valet. Street parking was nowhere to be found - so we just went somewhere else. It's nice having a gf/wife that understands, isn't it?

 

yeah- i never valet either. but then again - i let my mom borrow my car sometimes and that makes me super super super worried!!

but lesson learned, i never let anyone but me or my wife touch the cars. if we can't find a parking, we are not eating there

 

We all know what curb rash look slike, So don't let the valet comp. try to tell you that someone must have hit your wheels while it was parked.
I've got in the habit that when ever I have to have it valet parked, I tell the guy that I'm handing the keys to " Don't bump my front bumper and don't curb my wheels" that way he is on notice and they tend to be carefulll where and how they park the car. It has worked so far. But I'm nervous when some one else parkes it. I still aways do awalk around inspection when I pck it up.

 

Well guys, I've learned my lesson.I just got off the phone with the owner of the valet co., he is assuming responsibility and will be sending me a check.I have to give back the damaged rim but who cares.I at least come out alright minus the headache.I am happy with the outcome.Thanks guys.
