I know this is a cheap and rather simple mod, but it's an apperance thing for my GS430. Here in NJ, you need a License plate on both the front and the back of the vehicle.

Where can I get a Chrome License plate frame that says Lexus on it? Any sites I can visit or just goto the dealer?

For your reference, last year I was pulled over for speeding in my former Acura TL and the cop waived the speeding ticket charge, but got me for the Chrome Acura License Plate frame on the rear, due to it was covering the wording at the bottom of the License plate.

Was covering the "GARDEN STATE" Go figure. $50 Paid.

If you ever need to go to a performance shop, go to "SPEED ZONE" in queens blvd. Nice service and has the license plates you looking for.

Plus, if you ever need to go to an outside mechanic (something in which you do not need a dealer for) let me know, I have the two best mechanic/body shops for ya in NYC. My brother-in-law is a bimmer mechanic, and has made friends with lots of mechanic shops, so I know where all the good ones are and where all the crappy ones are.

My factory battery "crapped-out" on me too. They don't charge for some reason.

I suggest you go with an Interstate battery or run an Optima. I am currently running an Optima Redtop with a 24 adapter (battery height booster). Unless you are going to run a sound system that is going to push 95% of the alternator's charging level, stay with the Red Top rather than go with the Dry cell Yellow Top. The installation was not too much of a problem. Only had to peel a bit of the electrical tape off the positive terminal. Percy, MeanGene, and Christi from Optima helpped me with the procedure.

E-mail the auto guy from the E-bay Auction link that gsexploits left. I think it's the second link. He sold it to me for $33.00 shipped to the house. A much better alternative then paying $70.00 for it at the dealership.

I like that 3D Lexus Chrome on Chrome Look. I have a silver car, but just don't want it to look like Big Pimpin, just a little more touch of upscale class to the car.

I have the 3d black chrome on black chrome plates tp match my black chrome badging(platinum ed.)

Looks nice, not too "big pimpin" but an upscale touch.

Thanks for the referral on this one. I just picked up the Chrome on Chrome 3D License Plate Frame. I think it's a great deal compared to what the dealership wanted in the $100 Range.
