Not sure if it is the same as the SC - but move the seat all the way to the back, then pry off the plastic covers and remove I think 3 bolts on each side. Then move the seat all the way forward and do the same thing. Then disconnect the plug and pull. Well that's how it works in the SC so maybe it is the same.

at least that's the case for the is3 too, just two bolts front and 3 bolts rear on the is300 though

i would assume pretty much the same way. there are plastic coverst at the end of the rail, just pry them out carefully and you will see the bolt

Don't you need to unplug the car battery first, sort of like when people are removing the airbag from the steering wheel?
I'd be afraid if that side airbag deploys

to remove the seat you need to remove seat controls at the sides then you will see 2-3 small phillips head screws remove those then directly in front where the bottom seat cushin is there is a small phillips head on each front corner once those are removed then you can remove plastic also make sure to pop out square piece covering the seatbelt bolt then 2 17mm bolts 4 of them to remove and yes you must disconnect battery completely or you will have airbag light warning when you plug back in

i just did this 2 weeks ago when i redid my leather with new skins
