Default V8 in an I6??...

i was just wondering about this b/c F/I is something that is on my mind daily and was just thinkin about this... would it be possible to drop an engine from a GS4 into a GS3?? i dont know too much of the technical info and i know that i would consider this as an option if it was possible, but who knows any input??

I would buy a GS400 and call it a day. You have to change Ecu, wiring harness. Transmission mounts, tranny etc.. not worth the trouble.

honestly for what it would cost, you can do a prolex supercharger and have a little more power than a gs400..

well the PLP sc is pretty inexpensive and is just bolt on with no intercooler. it puts out about 245 rwhp which is what the gs4 is about to the wheels...it goes for 4k or so ...the LMW kit is 5500.00 but it is intercooled and goes for about 290rwhp, not sure if the i-manage is inlcuded.

yeah i agree with jpi, trade in your car and get the gs400, fast and easy, and probably cheaper too.

get FI for the gs3 is definitely a better route
