No electrical power at all!
anyone had this happen? i went to start my car this morning and nothing. works. the battery was changed this february, any ideas on what it could be?
eh...if the battery is dead...you will need to put it on a battery charger overnight, if you dont you may end up with a defective battery and could push the alternator too hard and damage it. Reason being...the alternator is a trickle charger, it keeps the battery topped off, it wasnt designed to charge a fully discharged battery.
well i tightened the positive cable (it was a little loose) and now the car starts up, but the RPM/speed gauges dont work. there's no light and the needles dont move. the radio, clock are fine just no dash instruments, is there a fuse?

just disconnect the neg cable for about 5mins then reconnect , your instrumentation will come back on , happened to me a few times when i was resetting ecu

man...these electrical "problems" are kinda scary...i was giving my truck a jump with my GS and VSC lights and some other lights came on
i turned off the car and let it sit for a couple minutes and restarted it....lights went out...
so...good luck man

All is well... for now.
I had this exact thing happen to me. It really freaked me out since I had just bought the car about a month ago and was thinking I might have a lemon on my hands
...but I just tightend the battery terminal and the problem was fixed.

Remove the clamps and use a knife to clear the connections, sometimes they have acidic build up that greatly restricts the flow of energy. The connectors are made of a very soft metal so just shave it untill you see clear metal, this should give you quicker start up and better over all electrical current.
