Right above the vents? The bodyshop had to cut something off of the body or something to get them to sit flush.

Yep, that's the spot and what they did.

Other than that what do you think of the kit in terms of fitment and looks?

I was a little worried at first, but I really like it! The kit in pictures was right on the borderline of 'too agressive' for my mild mannered tastes but in person it actually looks much better than in pictures! The bodyshop guy said "I had to get that car out of his shop" because people kept coming up and looking at it and were all deciding to go out and sell their current rides and buy a GS (he had two people do that, lol). A lot of my buddies were skeptical or 'wait and see' with photos and really liked it when they saw it in person.

The front now with the slightly darker chrome mesh looks awesome with the FMIC peeking through. From some angles you see the mesh, from others its like it isn't even there and you are starting right at the intercooler. I got the same mesh to match under the grill (also powdercoated black chrome) and behind the side vents / rear so it all ties together nicely.

I really like the way the sides flare out right behind the front wheel and in front of the rear wheel. Very cool. The only part I don't like is the fittment/alignment of the caps as mentioned earlier.

I also think it helps that both your cars are black. I remember seeing the kit on the white demo car and did not like it. The black hides a lot. After Gamma put it on, I saw that it worked well on a dark color. I would still be hesitant on putting it on a lighter car, though.

i agree with neo, black not only hides some of the "unncessary lines" of the kits, but it also helps to set off what's needed to make your car looks sick. dave, hopefully in the near future i can give you a visit, i definitely want to see your car in person

Had a number of pm requests from folks for more pics and finally snapped a few on Saturday where you can see the kit better. Sorry it took me so long to do it, lots going on of recent.

Not my best photography, but the grade and the light conspired against me

First pic shows how flared the kit is in around the wheels

Sorry, didn't clean off my front wheels from brake dust

Hood is a bit hard to see in this lighting...

So I snapped / included an overhead

More here in my website gallery.

Thanks for all the kind comments above guys .
