Default I'm an idiot!! Question about oil change

Alright, here's something hilarious. While I was doing my oil change I forgot to change my oil filter.

I dumped the new oil in, but forgot to take the old filter out. What should I do???

Can I just take the oil filter out and exchange it?

Or do I need to take all the good oil out, then change the filter?

Thanks!!

You can still replace the filter even after the refill. before you start the engine, the oil does not flow thru the filter, All new oil is still down there inside the drain pan.
