Wish the rear wheel wells were like the bmw 745 so it could take a 11.5 or wider rim so it go on with no mods.

 

I hate the fact that even Eshift is unable to shift to 1st and to manually shift to 1st it doesn't do it til 20kmh... (probably for FR so it may pull too hard and loose the back end) Even our Sienna can shift to 1st at speed... BTW FYI, 2000 Sienna does 180kmh easy, but speed limiter cuts in at 180... it felt like it still want to go badly.

I'm a recent 2GS owner ('01 300, black/tan all options exc. nav). The things that I don't like about my car...
* Some form of gurgling behind the dash, seems to happen when the A/C is running.
* Stock ride height (easily fixed though).
* Dim dash lights.
* It's not a 430 (but they never brought them out here in Australia till the 3GS shape).

Other then that she's perfect.

 

no dam iPod interface for the 2000 model only 01 and up had to other route without install after market

 

for another Ozzy GS, that noise is prolly coming from your a/c stepper motors. Oh and it sux that we get an electric aerial!

 

I hate that my car never pulled to the side until AFTER my Daizen bushing install.... and alignment.

 

That's air in the coolant. Burp your system. And if you cannot...If you haven't done it, have your system flushed with new Red Toyota coolant.

no passage to trunk from inside car..

 

the fact that i have grey int. and not black!!! the noise my exhaust makes!!! and the fact that you can not use the stock amp with a aftermarket unit! i just want to change my head unit that its!!!

 

thats your fault then man. they do make them with black interior. u shoulda bought one in black just like i shoulda

 

true. those are things I hate about MY GS haha. I was venting. the stereo thing is GS' in general though.

 

Or maybe the brake booster?

Things I don't like about the 2GS:
- Stock ride height
- Layout of the trunk
- Transmission "normal" setting is too lazy (I like it in "power" mode)
- Fixed back seat
- Mileage (I just filled her up... paid the equivalent of 7$ per gallon...)

 

what everyone else said and that Lexus(Toyota) stopped making the 2nd gen!

 

Dunno if it's been mentioned, but the doors are annoying. I open the door, and the damn thing ALWAYS tries to close back on me. You have to open it all the way, otherwise it tries to swing back closed for some reason. And no, it doesn't only happen on inclines.
