Alarm Beep won't work???? HELP!!!!
 

Anyone have a problem with the alarm not beeping anymore when turning it on and off from the key?? The doors lock and unlock just fine, as well as the lights, but i am not getting the beep anymore!!! Any suggestions???? Is it a fuse....if so, where the hell is it??? Any thing else it could be???

You might try checking for a little round knob at the base of the steering column (under dash) there might be a volume control knob down there. Not sure which year car you have, but some have that knob.

Mine is a 1998 GS400

On '98 GS400's the only way to change the beep is by having the dealer plug their hand-held computer into the car and set the beep option to 'on'

Mine stopped beeping today as well, out of the blue. I also noticed that the headlights no longer turn off when you press "arm" twice. Did you find a solution to this? 98 GS300.

I actually noticed this too on my car this weekend. :uh:

I think you only get the beep on the inititial LOCK or UNLOCK then no more beep.
Open and close the door and hit the key again it should beep again.

Mine is a 2000 GS4

I didnt know there is a such thing. I bought mine used 98 GS4 and i dont have the beep sound and the headlights off.
