Rebadged to chrome
OBX clear side markers
Hopefully wheels and Tein CS coilovers in distant future

couple of ?s chuck,
Where did you get the obx side markers and how much $?
Why dont you look into some iForged wheels in 18 or 19s, I think you would like them alot
Oh and you wont be disappointed if you get the Tein CS, just make sure to spend the extra $300 and get the edfc, its a cool toy yes but it has function behind it as well.

Thanks for the link chuck, I may have to order some. The ones I have are getting condensation in them and get water in them when I was the car. Have you noticed if these have any of these problems yet?

Another one. :P
Just picked up an '01 LS430 Ultra Luxury this week. The color is called midnight pine pearl, paint code is in the bottom corner of that there white sticker. 6S6
Curious if anyone has another resource on production numbers? Lexus' website doesn't have the page up anymore, but I understand that of the 140,000 or so UF30s(?), or 3rd gen, 5% of which were Ultra Luxuries. That would probably make this one a rather unique critter. Let me know, if you would.

A friend of mine just bought a GS430 in this color. I swore it looked black until I saw it in sunlight.
Interesting question: his car needs to be repainted partly. Some people told him that this color is insanely difficult to paint...is this true or just a myth? Others say the painters just scan the code and it will be a 1-1 match with the rest of the car. Anyone that has experience with repainting this ultra rare color?
The effect of this color is crazy. I would just call it multi-colored.

It's a pearl paint, but I've had the car partially repainted several times and it looks fine. I haven't found an angle where panels don't match yet. Being a dark colour, it's more forgiving than a pearl white, for example.
So, myth. There's more to it than just scanning a code, but it's not out of the ordinary work for a paint shop.

This is too funny. I didn't know that Lexus ever did this color in the GS line. My 2nd Gen SC430 is the exact same color. And yes, it looks black on a cloudy day. My neighbor was shocked when he figured it out. He said I looked at that car for three days before he knew it wasn't black. LOL.
