I'm reluctant to chime in here because I am not directly affected, but in my book defective merchandise is defective merchandise regardless of the price. The negotiated price included paint, if you are unstatisfied with the paint then you have a legitimate complaint.

I have an 01 GS430 and I ordered mine last week in sliver. I'm expecting delivery this week. Has anyone had the same problem in silver? I guess I'll find out soon.

Hey I also have a 2001 Gs 430 Mil Silver and I received my aero kit Monday from Diller and I have only had a chance to get the grill installed and it matches up pretty good. I guess keeping your car garaged and out of the sun helps out quite a bit. I'm planning on installing the side skirts this weekend...crossing my fingers on a perfect match for those also.....

Question for those who are reading...Where is the best place to get a TTE front lip spoiler? Looking for a reasonable price since I will have to paint it to match...

i believe they have clear coat. considering that most of the lexus have clear coat, i dont' see why the skirts are painted without

with that said though, i am not sure how you can check it out...

if i need to send back, I have to pull all those underside clips again

those are paint in the @ss to pull.
that's coz' you don't knnow how to remove them man. press the center part of the clip, there is a nick, push it in, and the clip will fall out easy. if you just pull and pull on it, good luck

and imho, there are only two simple solutions to this problem. deal with it, get them repainted and put on the car (heck the painted color probably doesn't match your body color anyway), or just go ahead and return them for a refund. forget about anything else, it's just not gonig to happen imho. morris has a good point, yes it's a valid complaint, but there are already two very clear solutions to the problem.

Really? I broke almost every single clips when pull the old one out...now I have left the broken part inside the body

so just press the center of the clip?

yup, if you look at the clips, it's round, and in the middle there is a little circle. press hard on it using a little screw driver or something, you will hear a loud pop sound, and the clip will fall right out very easy

rmmgs4 taught me this. it's amazing how these little stuff works sometimes

I should see my kit sometime this week ( in black). I will post here if there is any defects of any kind
on the kit. So far I'm hearing that it's mainly on the white color painted ones, correct?
