I believe if you put silver pearl paint over black it would become a silverish gray car with black coming out of it, sort of a marbled or "bowling ball" effect. You might just want to find a House of Kolor color that is close to what you want and let me know the color because I can get it dirt cheap. Also DuPont Obsidian black is close to what you want for the Benz's, cost is $75.00 a quart. Ricey? Not to me, but others could say yeah. What do you want?

DuPont Obsidian black :
what effect does this paint give
i want the base color to be black but in a different view "flip" to sliver kinda like a "mirror effect"

The paint is the same one on the new S/Cl/SL class benz's. There is like four different blacks for benz. This the second best next to that Designo.

Several years ago Saturn offered a factory color that I believe was called "Silver Black" which was a basic black metallic but with silver particles mixed in that were large enough to be visible, and depending on the angle you looked at it and the lighting conditions, it either looked primarily black or primarily silver. I'm not sure if this is exactly the effect or not you're looking for, but if it is, you might want to check with a body shop..they can give you the details of the paint composition and the color code, and maybe show you a sample of it.
