Since the next-gen gs will be a 2006 model, what could Lexus possibly do to sell a 2005, especially since there will be most likely no cosmetic changes whatsoever, and the thought of a brand new model around the corner?? It's not due for a SportDesign, possibly another Platinum Edition (or is that one officially retired?). What scares me is that after seeing the new model of the GS, and how "current" it looks, I can't imagine that car still being a headturner in 2014 (assuming this model stays around 8 years like the 2nd gen did)!! I have a 2001, which was more than 3 years into it's lifecycle, I would never have imagined it would still look the same another FIVE years later !!
