I have a friend that is selling his cheap and wondered what they would look like on my GS. They are 17" correct? I guess I could just go over there and put them on, but i'm lazy. Also did a search, but really don't know what to look for and I confused the search engine here...

The IS wheels are a bit skinny for the GS though. You may want spacers in the rear to push it out a bit.

Note that the IS300 wheels are narrower than the similar looking GS wheel and many folks here recommend against putting them on a GS.

Wow, is that GS lowered?

Also, how is the wheel narrower? is it a 215, 225, or 235?

I like the look, but i guess if I am looking for that look, I might as well just buy some GS400 wheels eh?

I believe the OEM IS300 wheels are 225/45 tires running on 17x7 rims. The stock GS wheels are 16x7.5 or 17x8.

the is3 has 215/45, very stupid setup imho. i don't see a single reason to put those rims on the GS. the offset is wrong, the wheels sit so inset, and the tires are so narrow

Sorry my bad. I thought I remember someone posting 225 and thought that is actually pretty nice for stock size. Just my failing memory I guess but I guess makes the argument for too narrow even better.

as long as you have stock 17s, it's better than the is3 wheels for sure
