Leaking heater core

Default Leaking heater core

I just purchased a new heater core had someone put it in thought they knew what they were doing apparently they just broke a lot of stuff and basically quit the job My new heater core that was installed is leaking and I would like someone to tell me how to fix the leak I can show you where it's leaking from I have pictures I just really need some help cuz I have no idea what I'm doing it's leaking where the pipes go into the heater core.

You cant "fix" that. Those pipes are not reapareable with out removing the heater core itself. The core would have to be drained for welding (as a last resort).
And for the cost of welding you might as well purchase a new one.
Heater core replacement is relatively easy with some direction. I'm sure these are writeups on here on how to replace. IIRC, only thing in your way is the glove box.

Actually if you look on the engine side of the firewall, you can easily find the 2 ports for the heater core. U can disconnect them and then use pressurized air or even a shop vac to drain the coolant that goes to the H/C. If your lucky you can find just a small crack or leak in an easily accessible place then u might be able to repair it using something like JBWeld. There are a few effective ways to repair small leaks. So u can avoid the trouble and expense of replacing the HC. I think it’s pretty easy to drain the HC before removing it, just to avoid spilling antifreeze all over my carpet.

Thanks I ended up draining removing and repairing with solder and now no leaks and working fine.
