Fog Light color?

Fog Light color?
i was curious, are the fog light housings yellow, or is it the bulb inside? also, if the housing is yellow, what would happen if some one were to change out the regular bulb for a True HID bulb. would it still show yellow, or like a yellowish blueish?

the fog lamp has a yellow piece inside 2 provide with the yellow look...i think that if u did a true blue bulb u'll get a green fog light cus blue and yellow make green...

and they just look bright yellow, no green in them at all! i compared them with just halogen in the fogs and mine is just bright yellow that's all, vs dull yellow on the stock setup

sweet, i was thinking about switching them out for HID, but the yellow Fogs are what makes a GS. you know what car it is before you see the it because of the yellow fogs. I just wish they were a little brighter. kinda defeats the purpose of having them if you cant even see the diffrence on the road. oh, and as to the yellow and blue make green thing, i was gonna put down greenish too, but i thought i would look like a dork. well, might just have to do an experiment: buy them, try em out, and if it makes green, then get them off. But if it makes really, really, really, ridiculous really shinny yellow, then they may have to stay.
