I am searching for cars here and there and want to upgrade soon, I guess it just depends when it feels right or I find the right car and deal. I keep seeing 2000 GS's that say still under factory warranty, at non Lexus dealers, wouldn't the warranty be up by manufacture date, it would be about 4 years now and wouldn't a 2001's regular factory warranty be up within the next 6 months. Unless I get a CPO a Lexus warranty will not be in my choices unless I get a 2002, is what I am coming up with. What my question is, I keep seing nice 2000 GS's with around 30k miles in a nice price range to lower my payment from what it is are now (with the little I owe) , but I want a warranty, when I first bought my first generation it was CPO and they treated me great with the little issues I had at first but the manufacture date of 7 years was up 6 months after I bought it, I just don't want that to happen again, would like a car with 30k to be under warranty for a while, can I purchase a Lexus Warranty if I don't get it from a Lexus dealer? Or should I just stick with a CPO, an 2001 or 2002. Thanks...............
