Jzs147 maintenance schedule

I've been looking around for the maintenance schedule for the jzs147. I haven't been able to find it. Could someone help with direct me to it? I've found the maintenance schedule for the US gs300 but not this motor. Thanks!

Edit: I see the sticky, but I noticed the lexus manual calls for a valve clearance check every so often and am curious if this is something that I need to check.

Thanks again

valve clearance check every 50k miles, oil change every 3-5k miles, radiator flush every 35k-50k along with belts. Id probably do a transmission flush every 20k miles along with your rear end. Rebuild around 250-300k most likely.

Do you happen to know what the clearance is supposed to be

The spark plugs are going to need to be inspected every 5k and changed every 10k or once per year. They're copper so they won't last 100k like platinums or 120k like iridiums (and you don't want to use those plugs in your engine on stock ignition). You can increase the coolant flush interval by using the new Toyota long life coolants. Its up to 8 years now. The brake fluid should still be inspected every year and changed every 2 years. I wish I had the Toyota specific maintenance schedule as well though.

Nice, thank you. A bit off topic here but is there a piggyback ecu for these cars?

Is the GTE cylinder head the same for the valve adjustments?

joewitafro 07-20-17 01:22 PM

Not sure about that.. I would say no, but its a possibility.
