Default Leaking transmission????

1994 Lexus gs300

Ok so my alternator went bad I ordered the part but haven't had time to put on till recently. The car has been sitting for a little over two weeks with out running so once I replaced the alternator everything was good until I backed out driveway and I noticed a whole ****ing lot of red fluid in the drivewY..not coolant nor power steering fluid well I could be wrong but it leaking from up under transmission but I can't tell from where exactly.so I filled the car with the proper trans fluid and kept driving it stopped leaking for about a day .now it back leaking again but when I check the trans dip stick its over the maximum hot line so did I refill it to much and its leaking out excess fluid or what?car is running perfectly fine shifting ok and everything..could anybody possibly tell me what is wrong?
