I dont have TRAC either, I think they should not even sell this car without it, the back end is way too fishy!! I once spun 90 degrees left, then right, then a complete 180, on some sleet!! I know the negative rear camber and 20" low pro rubber does not help but still!! be very careful on ANY slick surface, and if your car is modded like my own, BE VEEERRRRYYYYY CAAAAUUUTTTIIOOOUSSSSSS!!
BTW- I was doing about 35-40mph when I had my ordeal, I thank the Lord, no one was coming, my life would have most certainly been in jeopardy!

On icy roads with low profile tires the traction control doesnt help much.. so you aren't missing much there.. But it helps a lot in rain, thru puddles, in turns, and over bumps at high speed. You know when its working cuz the dashboard lights up "Trac". In rainy weather it will light up often. Also when your tires wear down it will work often then helping you to keep control.
