Default 1992 Toyota Aristo

I just got my 1992 Toyota Aristo from Japan! It has 22k american miles on it still smells new. Its silver with silver interior with aftermarket rims. Besides the body and a few interior features I do not think it has the same interior finishes. I thought that RHD would be super weird but its ok overall. I know its not exactly a GS300 but its Japanese sister in a way. Fully legal due to the age and its registered and titled in AZ!

What's up guys? Just bought a 92 jzs147 from montumotors and am excited to meet everyone and learn more about these cars. I don't have a lot of time today to look through all the stickys but I wanted to introduce myself right away.

Here is the car, let me know what you think and any noob advice is appreciated.

Thanks

Default Thanks for the add

I have a first gen GS 300..awesome that I found a place that loves lexus as much as I do. I found this gem a couple of months ago. Although I'm having Lil issues still love her. She is the two toned white, with tan leather interior The guy I bought it off already did the cold air intake, coil overs, and timing, water pump. She has around 178000 miles on her.

Looks like a nice car! Did it come with the current rims? The headlights being yellow are an easy fix with some fine automotive sand paper and some clear coat make them look new again. I just did the timing belt service and the cars are easy to work on. Welcome to CL!

Hello Everyone.

Just picked up my '95 yesterday. Black with tan leather. Unsure of options/special packages as the engine and trans was swapped with a 1.5JZ on a single turbo mated to a W58. Quite happy with how it runs, just needs some maintenance from sitting for a while but I'm looking forward to making it into a nice sleeper sedan.

Just picked up a 93 GS300 with 94k miles. She burns a little power steering fluid right now but the new control valve is on the way to fix that. The car also needs brakes all the way around, they squeal pretty bad lol. The interior is 3/10, exterior is 4/10. Little rust spot on the right rear, and she could use some paint and the headlights polished and cleared.

I'll post some pics in a little while

Howdy, im proud to have found a 1st gen GS. She ain't pretty, but she will be. 1994 black with grey interior. She ha just under 200k so I yanked her heart out to replace all the seals and do a bearing inspection. Just about ready to fire her up. Well except for the split and leaking fuel filter...

Things I'm looking for are coilovers andseats
I also have a 1993 NA-T SC300 so of course I have spare parts for days.

Default My Aristo

I've been away for a while, looks like th JZ140's need some more people here!

So she's been in the family a while finally get to bring her home to AZ.
So far...full a/c overhaul, and every other possible service/flush.
Just updated the turbo set up with Borg's new s256sx turbo, on a SPA manifold.
HKS turbo back, HKS intercooler.
HKS Fcon pro V gold.
Tein CS coilovers which are so nice but we're going way stiffer plus air over.
Rays 99B 19x10
next mods: audio system (all 90's era) full urethane bushings, supra sway bars, all the battle version bits, and replacing everything rubber.

A couple snaps for now.

Default 92 Aristo

Hey everyone,
I'm new to the forum so I'll introduce my car since that's why we're all here- I finally got my hands on a 1992 Mauve Metallic Toyota Aristo. It has the original 2jzgte that it came with from the factory (which is 50% of the reason i wanted an Aristo). The right hand drive is definitely something to get used to.

Here are some pics that were used by the seller for listing. I should have some of my own pictures up soon.

Nice GS300 did you rebuild the engine with different internals or do a 2jz swap for the turbo? Looks like a clean car that is well cared for.
