Default AUX port/input with stock radio?

Has anyone figured out a way to install a AUX port/input with the stock head unit? I checked around in the audio section but I didn't find a definitive answer. I have an aftermarket 12 disc changer that taps into the wire harness so I hope that if I have to tap into wires I can just use those. Thanks in advance for any info!!

This is what I found and bookmarked a while back. Haven't tried it though.

I just bought one on ebay for $9. How is the sound quality with the adapter?

I mean, it's nowhere near the quality of a normal amplified aftermarket radio, but it's good enough for me. My factory bass still sounds decent and it doesn't have that normal fuzzy sound you normally get from tape decks unless you have it cranked up and there's no music playing.

It works... when I first put it in, it would spit it out like it was trying to flip it... so I somehow decided to rewind it in the tape deck before it spat out and it started rewinding, stopped, and has worked perfect ever since. I know, sounds like an odd remedy but hey, it worked. I can take it out and put it in every time without a problem now.

I had a couple of tape adapters including the Monster when I owned the GS. If I remember correctly, the wire got in the way of the slot so it would keep ejecting. Try opening the flap and moving the wire to another position or so that the wire feeds to the other end. Although, sound quality wasn't as good than the cheaper Phillips branded one I previously had.

Hmmm... As you're putting it in, hold it in and hold down the rewind button. It should work. I can't remember if it was that I did to get it to work or if there is a button that makes it think it's flipping the tape over to the other side like a normal cassette.
