Default Car is overheating. Steam. From heater control valve hose.

My car has been overheating and when i pull over steam is coming from behind the engine. I imagine the hose to the heater control valve has a crack. ive removed the hose but now i dont know how to put a new one on. its really tight back there.

Yea that hose in the back is a common replacement on these high mileage 2jzge engines. Not sure how hard it is to reach as I had the shop replace mine with a gates branded hose, but the turnaround seemed pretty fast. Try searching the 1SC forum as I remember there was some discussion about it.
