Problems with fog lights...
I just recently bought two fog lights out of a car at pull-a-part and they had nothing wrong with them. Now the problem I am faced with is I have one perfectly fine fog light already in that is hooked up, light doesnt seem to be blown, and the fuse is fine aswell but the problem I face is that the fog light will not turn on. I only have one light in there, and have not put the right side in yet. Will not having one of the fog lights in there cause it not to turn on or, what lol.

Not yet I am unsure of where to look for a short or damaged. I would probably have to take the entire bumper off to look for a short or damaged wire wouldn't I.

Yes I have flicked the switch on and off multiple times, and no i do not think there is a problem with the switch itself. I did have a wreck that tore the front bumper off, but if I was too look for the damaged wires, or whatever seems to be the problem, I would want to look there first correct?

How do you know the light isn't blown? Do you have a DMM (digital multi-meter)? Check to see if there is 12 volts at the connector of the fog lights (vehicle side). Check resistance in the bulb, to see if it will work. If you have 12 volts at the connectors and the bulb checks out then I would hook up the other side first before taking the bumper off and looking for a short. If your lights don't work after that then I would look for shorts or broken wires and repair as necessary.

Thanks onelt1! I will probably do that before I hop into tearing everything apart. Right now I have to spray some sea foam into the engine to clean up a IAV but I will let you all know how it works out for me. Also whats the min/max HID Xenon lights I could use. Kelvin wise, because I am looking at getting 6000k for headlights and possibly 4000k for fogs or can I go more on fog lights?
